Job summary

Adven is seeking a Director, Operational Excellence to lead the group’s continuous improvement across Finland and the Baltics. You will manage a portfolio spanning operations, commercial, fuel, and procurement, turning opportunities into measurable results.

The role combines operational excellence, financial analysis, and transformation, reporting to the SVP, Finland & Baltics. The position offers hybrid work from Vantaa with some travel and collaboration across the region.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Economics, or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operational excellence or similar.
• Proven track record in leading improvement initiatives from business case to implementation.
• Strong commercial, financial, and technical understanding of asset-intensive businesses.
• Experience managing multiple initiatives and stakeholders across functions/countries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the continuous improvement process across Finland and the Baltics.
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve efficiency, EBITDA, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with Country Managers and initiative owners to ensure measurable results.
• Develop and evaluate business cases and investment options with financial impact.
• Monitor progress and support budgeting/forecasting in Finance.
• Support electrification and reserve markets initiatives.
