Adven seeks a Director of AI Transformation to lead a company-wide AI program from concept to execution. Based in Vantaa, Finland or Stockholm with some remote work, you will own AI initiatives and drive measurable business value across the group.
You will partner with senior leaders to shape Adven’s AI agenda, ensure governance, manage budgets, and stay ahead of AI trends while delivering tangible results in an asset-intensive energy group.
Adven is a dynamic energy group driving the energy transition by developing sustainable and competitive solutions in partnership with customers, municipalities, and suppliers. Together, our 600+ employees provide households and businesses with district heating and geoenergy solutions, and industries with steam, heating, cooling, and infrastructure services that improve resource efficiency.
With over 50 years of experience, we operate more than 350 sites across Europe, delivering a total energy volume of 5.1 TWh. Our annual revenue is €424 million, and our total assets amount to €1,480 million.
As Director, AI Transformation, you will lead Adven’s company-wide AI transformation and play a central role in integrating AI into our daily business. You will be responsible for ensuring that AI is implemented effectively across the Group, creating measurable business value and continuously developing how we use AI.
You will work across the organization to identify opportunities, build momentum, and drive AI initiatives from concept to execution. As the owner of Adven’s AI solutions and functionalities, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and teams across the business to ensure that AI becomes a practical and value-adding part of everyday operations.
This is a newly established role with significant visibility and responsibility. You will have the opportunity to shape Adven’s AI agenda from the ground up and influence how a growing international energy group leverages emerging technologies.
The position is based at Adven’s office in Vantaa, Finland or Stockholm, Sweden, with a possibility for 1–2 days working remotely. You will report to the SVP, Strategy & M&A.
You are a business-oriented and execution-focused transformation leader who is motivated by turning new technologies into tangible business results. You are comfortable navigating complex topics, working with multiple stakeholders, and driving initiatives forward in a dynamic environment.
You combine strong analytical and strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach to execution. You can translate complex AI and technology concepts into clear business language and tailor your communication to different audiences.
You are curious about rapidly evolving technology, open to different perspectives, and able to build trust and momentum across the organization. Most importantly, you focus on measurable business outcomes rather than AI adoption for its own sake.
You will have a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing international energy group and play a central role in Adven’s AI transformation.
As the first dedicated leader for company-wide AI transformation, you will have significant ownership and visibility across the organization. You will work closely with senior management and teams across Adven to turn the potential of AI into concrete business value.
We offer a flexible, development-oriented work culture with clear targets, where you are supported in your professional growth.
This is an opportunity to combine strategy, technology, and business transformation in a role where you can make a tangible impact on how Adven operates and develops in the years ahead.
