Job summary

Metso Corporation in Tampere is seeking a DevOps / Software Engineer to join the Aggregates software team. Your main focus will be test automation and DevOps while contributing to software development as project needs change.

You will build automated tests for software that interacts with machine hardware and simulators, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with testers, developers and engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

Experience with C/C++ development.
Basic knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
Hands-on scripting experience (Python and Bash).
Experience with CI/CD platforms (Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Fundamental software testing and QA understanding.
Ability to debug and write secure code.
Collaborative cross-disciplinary communication.
Willingness to work with hardware and simulators on site.

Responsibilities

Create automated tests for software interacting with hardware.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test and delivery.
Build/improve test frameworks for various machine configurations.
Contribute to integration of hardware units with software.
Monitor test results and software quality metrics.
