Job summary

Metso in Tampere is seeking a DevOps / Software Engineer to drive test automation and DevOps across our Aggregates software team. You will contribute to mobile-crusher software, connecting hardware units, operator interfaces, and data collection systems.

The role offers flexible hybrid working with on-site presence when simulators and hardware are required. The candidate should have experience with C/C++, Linux environments, scripting (Python/Bash), and CI/CD platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C/C++ development.
• Basic knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
• Hands-on scripting experience (Python, Bash).
• Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Knowledge of software testing and test automation.
• Ability to debug, test and practice secure coding.

• Focus on test automation and DevOps for the Aggregates software team.
• Contribute to software development as project needs evolve.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation.
