Job summary

Sandvik Mining, Underground Drilling Division in Tampere (Myllypuro) Finland seeks a Manager, Applications and Platform Software. You will lead a global team delivering equipment, digital tool and platform software across sites including Tampere, Lyon, Winnipeg and Jinan.

Responsibilities include developing fit-for-purpose processes, ensuring compliance with design standards, and building cross-divisional culture of product commonality. Fluent English and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering or equivalent field.
• Proven track record in software development management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a global context.
• Experience with architecture and platform software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team responsible for equipment, digital tool and platform software development.
• Ensure software deliveries across multiple sites (Tampere, Lyon, Winnipeg, Jinan).
• Develop and enforce fit-for-purpose processes and tools in collaboration with centralized process development.
