Job summary

NestAI, a European AI lab for defence, seeks a Deployment Strategist to lead customer deployments across Helsinki, Stockholm, and Latvia. You will own strategy, align BD, and guide forward-deployed engineers from embryo concepts to field deployments.

You will translate customer needs into actionable program visions, navigate organizational complexity, and ensure credible, mission-driven outcomes with high autonomy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in strategic advisory, tech deployment, product strategy or complex customer roles in defence or high-consequence industries.
• Empathy for users with obsession on operational outcomes, not just project plans.
• Ability to bridge between AI/software engineers and defence leadership/BD.

Responsibilities

• Deeply understand customer problems with field operators and stakeholders.
• Own deployment strategy for customer engagements from early testing to sovereign rollout.
• Translate technology possibilities into a credible deployment vision.
• Identify embryonic opportunities and mature them into full deployments.
• Manage stakeholder mapping, politics, and adoption to keep velocity.
• Collaborate with Business Development to target high-value mission problems.
• Support pre-sales activities and early scoping with BD.
• Work with Forward Deployed Engineers to anchor prototypes into field engagements.
• Feed real-world needs back to Product R&D for reusable platform capabilities.
