Job summary

Responsibilities include tackling challenging hardware problems, contributing to problem management, and advancing procedures and documentation for the IT hardware team. Collaboration with L3 technicians and process improvements are expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of datacenters and server equipment.
• Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and practical troubleshooting experience.
• Advanced Unix/Linux operating system and command line skills.
• Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis and presentation.
• Proactive and takes responsibility.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex hardware issues in servers with in-depth troubleshooting.
• Participate in hardware problem management, workarounds and solutions.
• Handle L1/L2 tasks via ticket system and update processes.
• Collaborate with L3 Technician to improve SLA with complex diagnostics.
• Improve support processes, documentation and training materials.
• Perform basic network tasks, troubleshooting and support.
