Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Data Integration & System Engineer to join the Martech & Sales Technology Department in Helsinki. You will design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and enable NBA real-time decisioning across on-prem and cloud platforms.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with Hadoop/Cloudera migrations to GCP or Snowflake, Spark/Scala, SQL, and data modeling, with a focus on data quality, governance, and CI/CD practices. This is a hybrid role in Helsinki.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, building and operating scalable data pipelines and data flows both on-premise and cloud.
• Proven experience migrating data from Hadoop/Cloudera to cloud platforms (GCP/Snowflake).
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling for reliable decisioning and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive migration and modernization of data from Hadoop/Cloudera to GCP/Snowflake.
• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Build and maintain batch and near real-time data flows with high availability.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and Product teams to align data flows with business needs.
• Apply CI/CD, version control, and automated testing practices.
