Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in safety or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of state/local, OSHA laws and regulations.
• May be required to pass security clearance investigation and substance testing requirements.
• OSHA 30-hour, OSHA 510 certifications and other safety credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide incident prevention support including site inspections, training, incident reporting, and safety standard guidance.
• Act as on-site Competent Person performing frequent inspections of site, materials and equipment.
• Oversee safety professionals assigned to the project.
• Advise site superintendents and employees on hazards, control measures and safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and contribute to written evaluation reports.
