Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor for a data centre construction project in Hamina, Finland. This is an on-site, 6-month fixed-term, full-time appointment.

You will lead site-based H&S support, deliver risk assessments, review method statements, run toolbox talks and training, investigate incidents and provide clear reporting to drive continuous safety improvements. The role requires a minimum of 3 years' H&S experience on construction sites, a NEBOSH certificate, and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' H&S experience on construction sites, preferably data centre/high-spec projects.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment and risk management.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based H&S support across construction works - inspections, engagement, coaching and compliance checks
• Deliver risk assessments, method statement review support and risk control plans
• Deliver toolbox talks and H&S training to site teams
• Investigate incidents and support corrective/preventive actions
• Produce clear H&S reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Confidently challenge unsafe behaviours and influence operational teams
