Job summary

Google is seeking a Facilities Management professional to lead and optimize daily office operations, oversee hardware/server configurations, and drive network component setup with engineers. You will coordinate non-standard hours and lead small projects while fostering a safe, collaborative workplace.

The role requires a technical degree, 8 years in related infrastructure, and 5 years managing teams. Finnish communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in computing infrastructure, networking, operating systems, or hardware.
5 years of experience managing technical, vendor, contract management, or delivery teams.
Ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.

Responsibilities

Lead a team and set/communicate priorities to support organizational goals.
Partner with teams to manage facility activities and set/implement strategies.
Maintain, monitor, and execute security and operational procedures and analyze trends for improvements.
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure.
Support and contribute to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives.
