Job summary

Google is hiring a Technical Program Manager in Finland to lead capital construction programs for data centers. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams from planning through commissioning, coordinating with executives and engineers to balance scope, schedule, and risk.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience managing capital construction projects.
• 5 years of experience managing capital construction projects.
• Experience delivering infrastructure (hyperscale data centers, semiconductor fabs, pharmaceutical facilities, or critical power/cooling plants) from the ground-up through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver optimized program communication plans including executive and key partner communications.
• Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that address continuous improvement, including resource stewardship and objectives.
• Determine and collect data required to govern programs and effectively drive stakeholder decision-making.
• Anticipate change management requirements that are required by program stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of senior cross-functional leads and ensuring they have the insights they need to make effective decisions.

Preferred qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP), CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
• Experience building, onboarding, or mentoring technical project teams (field engineers, cost managers, technical writers, document controllers), especially in high-growth environments.
• Experience managing multi-building campus developments, master planning, or multi-contractor ecosystems.
