Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a field mechanical engineer for the Finland campus to provide mechanical support for Data Center Services (DCS) TPM-led projects. You will help design, deliver, and optimize mechanical systems in line with schedule, cost, quality, and safety requirements.

You will liaise with Google teams, PMC, AE, and SPCs, ensuring installation activities meet project standards while maintaining strong stakeholder relations and compliance with EHS and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in managing construction projects.
• Experience working with data center equipment/environments including switchgear, generators, controls, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive mechanical outcomes of high complexity and scope, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership to projects, support design, scope, and safety for mechanical discipline.
• Troubleshoot advanced mechanical system events and contribute to cross-project procedures.
• Oversee mechanical installation activities and ensure compliance with EHS, quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with authorities and third-party inspectors for technical compliance.
