Job summary

You will work with project leadership and site teams to ensure the successful delivery of mechanical installation works, while coordinating with subcontractors and clients to uphold quality, safety, and schedule compliance.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in mechanical construction, experience with major contractors, and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical construction background within the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing mechanical installation works on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework, plumbing and related services.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• EU Passport is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of mechanical installation works with project leadership, site teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Take ownership of mechanical delivery, subcontractor management, quality control, health and safety, and programme performance.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance on project sites.
• Support fast-moving project environments and meet interview/appointment timelines.

G2 are currently looking for a Mechanical Construction Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, supporting a major data centre project in Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company delivering large-scale, technically complex projects across a number of European locations. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their team.

You will work closely with project leadership, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of mechanical installation works, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, programme performance, and compliance with project specifications and local regulations.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical construction background within the construction industry
• Experience working for a main contractor, general contractor, or major MEP/mechanical contractor
• Proven experience managing mechanical installation works on large-scale construction projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, pipework, plumbing, chilled water, heating, and associated services
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• EU Passport is essential
