Job summary

Recann in Vaasa, Finland, is seeking an Electronics Designer/Component Engineer to take ownership of component-related activities within a global product lifecycle context. You will influence design decisions, drive reliability, and support IPC/PLM practices across suppliers and manufacturing partners.

The role requires a strong electronics background, experience with electromechanical components, and collaboration across product development, sourcing, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as Electronics Designer or Component Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of digital, analog, discrete, or electromechanical components.
• Experience with electromechanical and mechanical components is valued.
• Familiarity with component quality, reliability, lifecycle management, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, IPC standards, and PLM systems.

What We Are Looking For:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electronics Designer, Component Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong technical understanding of digital, analog, discrete, or electromechanical components.
• Note: While the role covers a broad range of component technologies, the current focus is particularly on electromechanical and mechanical components, making experience from mechanical engineering, product design, or industrial hardware development valuable.
• Familiarity with component quality, reliability, lifecycle management, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, IPC standards, and PLM systems.
