Job summary

GRIT Fund Management Company Ltd is seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer who will take over the current role and report directly to the Board of Directors. You will oversee the full compliance function, including monitoring programs, policy setting, AML, data protection, and regulatory communications.

The role involves hands-on transition support from the current Compliance Officer and collaboration with in-house legal counsel, risk management, and senior management across fund operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in law or finance with relevant experience in compliance, legal, risk or audit, preferably in financial sector.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and set priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Finnish or Swedish, and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full compliance function reporting to the Board of Directors.
• Plan and run the compliance monitoring program and compliance checks.
• Monitor regulatory developments and shape policies; manage AML and data protection.
• Communicate with authorities and advise the Board, management and staff.
