Job summary

Osanyin Bioenergia Oy seeks a senior professional to lead the commercialisation of biogenic CO2 into liquid CO2, dry ice and sodium bicarbonate products. The role requires hands-on delivery from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation across diverse sites in Europe and Africa.

Ideal candidates will have experience in industrial gases or related chemical processes, strong project management, and the ability to validate markets with measurable results.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial gases, CO2 recovery, refrigeration or equivalent industry.
• Understanding of process engineering and product quality requirements.
• Project-management experience in process/equipment delivery.
• Commercial awareness of market validation and scale-up risk.
• Food-grade CO2 or dry-ice process knowledge is a plus.

Job description

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Lead commercialisation of biogenic CO2 into liquid CO2, dry ice and sodium bicarbonate products.

• Define feed-gas quality and CO2 purification/liquefaction process requirements.
• Develop the food‑grade CO2 quality and certification pathway.
• Execute the dry‑ice module and validate local cold‑chain / industrial markets.
• Evaluate the NaHCO3 process, soda‑ash feed and carbon‑balance model.
• Lead technology suppliers, EPC interfaces and customer qualification.
• Scale only after demonstrated market demand and product acceptance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

• Experience in industrial gases, CO2 recovery, refrigeration, chemical processes or equivalent industry.
• Understanding of process engineering and product‑quality requirements.
• Project‑management experience in process/equipment delivery.
• Commercial awareness of market validation and scale‑up risk.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Food‑grade CO2 experience.
• Dry‑ice or bicarbonate‑process knowledge.
• Experience with CO2 side streams from biogas upgrading.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

• On‑spec liquid CO2 and derived products.
• Verified local demand and commercial contracts.
• Transparent CO2 mass balance and competitive OPEX.

RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE

We are looking first and foremost for hands‑on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
