Job summary

Osanyin Bioenergia Oy is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead to oversee systematic commissioning, testing and safe transition from construction to commercial operation across our plants.

You will develop commissioning strategies, plan pre-commissioning and loop checks, coordinate SAT and performance tests, manage punch lists and handover, and lead vendor teams. English required; some French advantageous. Travel to Europe/Africa as needed.

Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan pre-commissioning, flushing, loop checks and cold/hot commissioning.
• Coordinate SAT and performance acceptance tests.
• Manage punch lists, handover and warranty transition.
• Lead vendor commissioning teams.
• Engage the operations team before start-up and handover.

Required Experience and Capability

• Strong commissioning/start-up experience in process, energy or chemical industry.
• Demonstrated commissioning of multiple plants or a large industrial complex.
• Good process-safety and permit-to-work understanding.
• Ability to lead under schedule pressure during critical start-up phases.

Preferred Experience

• Biogas, power, chemical, methanol or carbon-processing experience.
• System-completion / completions-database expertise.

Key Success Measures

• Safe and structured start-up.
• Performance tests completed with minimal punch-list carryover.

Recruitment Principle

We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.

Language Skills

A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte d'Ivoire during implementation phases.
