Job summary

Osanyin Bioenergia Oy seeks a hands-on engineer with experience in activated carbon and industrial processing to lead technology selection, pilot validation, and the first commercial module for a renewable-energy project. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Lead activated-carbon technology selection, pilot validation, execution of the first commercial module and customer qualification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate feedstock, activation, washing and drying processes.
• Lead RFQs, technology due diligence and verification of supplier references.
• Define water- and mining-grade product requirements.
• Manage laboratory and customer-sample qualification programmes.
• Lead EPC execution and commissioning of the first commercial module.
• Prepare a phased scale-up path to larger capacity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

• Experience in activated carbon, adsorbents, carbon materials or thermal-processing industry.
• Understanding of steam/chemical activation and key product-quality parameters.
• Project-management experience from pilot or commercial plant.
• Ability to work directly with customer technical specifications.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Gold-mining CIP/CIL/CIC application knowledge.
• Coconut-shell / PKS-based carbon experience.
• ISO and laboratory-method knowledge.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

• On-spec activated-carbon production.
• Customer qualification and repeat orders.
• Validated cost and feedstock basis before scale-up.

RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE

We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
