Job summary

Osanyin Bioenergia Oy in Finland seeks a hands-on engineering leader to design and execute biogas and biomethane plants from the first project to a multi-plant programme. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Lead design and execution of biogas and biomethane plants from the first commercial plant to a multi-plant industrial programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own feedstock and methane mass balances.


• Lead digester and gas-system design reviews.


• Evaluate and contract biomethane upgrading technology.


• Integrate CO2 side stream, digestate and CHP/power systems.


• Manage utilities, pipeline and hub interfaces.


• Evaluate EPC proposals and technical guarantees.


• Lead commissioning and performance testing.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

• 10+ years of experience in biogas, anaerobic digestion, gas processing or related process industry.


• Experience with industrial-scale biogas plants.


• Strong understanding of feedstock, digestion and gas-quality performance.


• Project-management experience through commissioning.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Biomethane upgrading experience.


• Large agricultural-feedstock biogas experience.


• Pipeline or multi-site hub experience.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

• Guaranteed gas output achieved.


• High availability and stable feedstock operation.


• Successful integration of digestate, power and CO2 streams.

RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE

We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.
