Job summary

KONE seeks a FinOps Lead to own and scale cloud financial management across Azure and AWS, delivering real-time visibility, budgeting accuracy, and value-driven optimization. You will partner with Finance, Procurement, Platform teams and Product owners to embed cost discipline in the product lifecycle.

Your role includes building frameworks, dashboards, and governance, while driving sustainability-linked cost improvements and AI-enabled insights within KONE IT.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in cloud financial management with Azure and AWS.
• Proven FinOps practice development (showback/chargeback, forecasting, optimization).
• Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, SIAM, and agile.
• FinOps Foundation certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain FinOps frameworks, policies, guardrails, tagging standards, and KPIs across Azure and AWS.
• Lead annual cloud budgeting and forecasting; monitor actuals vs. baseline and explain variances.
• Drive rightsizing, RI/Savings Plans, storage tiering, egress optimization, and cost tradeoffs with architects and product owners.
• Provide real-time dashboards and executive packs with cost trends, forecast accuracy and savings realization.
• Run enablement for application management and product teams on cloud cost best practices.
• Integrate emissions tracking with cost dashboards to optimize for cost and carbon.
