Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking a skilled Finance and Data Solution Architect to drive the multi-year Finance Transformation. You will define target state across sub-ledgers, GL, IFRS17 reporting, and data governance while partnering with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes cloud-based finance data platforms (Snowflake, AWS) and end-to-end architecture with a strong focus on controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in finance and data architecture.
• Solid understanding of sub-ledgers, GL, and IFRS17.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Finance architecture and data patterns.
• Knowledge of Snowflake-based data integration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the finance solution architecture for Aviva Canada's Finance Transformation.
• Define end-to-end finance architecture across sub-ledger, GL, and reporting.
• Design finance data flows, integration, and governance patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence governance decisions.
