Job summary

Aviva Canada seeks a Cybersecurity Advisor to provide consulting and advisory services for risk identification and management across the organization, ensuring controls align with Aviva's cybersecurity standards. You will support design, development, and implementation of projects in compliance with security standards.

You will collaborate with Risk & Compliance, Privacy, Supplier Assurance, IT Infrastructure and Operational Units, building relationships and staying current with industry trends

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years' experience in cybersecurity and risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of risk concepts and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Post-secondary education in CS/IT security or related field.
• Professional cybersecurity designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to information security risk management program improvements.
• Conduct security assessments for projects of various sizes.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders on risk management and remediation.
• Review architecture documents and security assessment reports.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
