Job description

Lastenhoitaja role includes organizing and implementing guided evening activities for children attending Kelan-supported adaptation and rehabilitation courses in Hyvinkää, Finland. Activities may involve crafts, games, and screenings; some children may have ADHD or autism spectrum disorders.

Requirements:

• Requires suitable education or ongoing studies in the field
• experience with children and special needs
• current basic first aid
• excellent Finnish
• flexibility
• teamwork
• vaccination protection as per law
• Suitable education or are a student in the field (vocational training or lower university degree such as practical nurse, child care worker, social worker, physiotherapist)
• Experience with children and especially with children with disabilities
• Current basic first aid course
• Excellent Finnish language skills
• Ability to be flexible and calm in changing situations
• Good teamwork and collaborative skills
• Vaccination protection as per Infectious Diseases Act for safety of clients
• A police background check as required by the Act on Supervising Social and Health Care

Salary: 50 euros per shift.
