Are you the Chef we are looking for?

Silver Birch Resort’s lakeside restaurant focuses on high-quality cuisine, pure natural flavours and locally sourced ingredients. Our kitchen combines traditional Lappish food culture with a modern approach. The menu is built around the best ingredients available each season. We are now looking for a skilled A la Carte Chef for our client in Rovaniemi for the winter season 2026–2027!

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious dinners and breakfasts for our guests in a stunning restaurant surrounded by the nature of Lapland and making use of local ingredients. Your duties will also include food preparation and other kitchen-related tasks.We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team and is also capable of taking responsibility for the kitchen independently when needed. We expect the candidate to have solid previous experience as an A la Carte Chef and a strong background in working in high-quality kitchens.

Working hours are available from 1 December 2026 to 28 February 2027, with 90–112.5 hours per three weeks. If you wish, you may also take on shifts during November and March, although no guaranteed hours are available during these months.The terms and conditions of employment are based on the collective agreement for the tourism, catering and leisure services sector. Salary will be determined according to your skills and experience. Accommodation can be arranged near the centre of Rovaniemi for a reasonable rent.
