Job summary

GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) in Finland seeks an experienced Jet Engine Mechanic for the hospital shop visit team (SPAH) at Helsinki Airport. You will perform hands-on CF6-80 engine work, inspections, and special procedures, with potential OJT for fellow mechanics.

Strong experience with CF6-80 engines is required; CFM56 is a plus. The role offers full-time permanent work with relocation support and a competitive starting salary.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanic with CF6-80 engines and authorizations.
• Experience with CFM56 engines is a plus.
• Good English to read/interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
• Ability to take ownership of work and work independently.
• Able to provide on-the-job training to other mechanics.

Responsibilities

• CF6-80C2 and CFM56-5B/7B Special Procedure Workscopes.
• Pre/Post Lease and Purchase inspections.
• On wing inspections & repairs.
• Special Procedure repairs.
• Module replacements.
• Engine Test Run & Preservation.
• MPD Tasks renewal.
• Participate in inspections, cleaning, material planning and handling.
