Job summary
GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) in Finland is seeking a SPAH Lead Mechanic / Inspector to join our international Hospital Shop Visit team, handling quick-turnaround engine shop visits with inspections, repairs and troubleshooting.
The role involves leading CF6-80 engine assembly/disassembly, performing inspections, and coordinating with customer representatives. 6S compliance, flexible hours including potential outside regular hours, and opportunities for career development are offered.
Qualifications
- CF6-80 engine experience required; CFM56-5B/7B considered a plus.
- Experience on module installation and assembly measurements.
- Ability to read and interpret SBs.
- Familiar with assembly/disassembly and inspections of parts, modules, and engines.
- Strong leadership and communication to guide a team.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanics during engine assembly/disassembly and supervise the work.
- Assist mechanics with tasks and troubleshooting.
- Perform inspections of assemblies, parts, modules, and engines.
- Report progress to Team Leads and cover for them when needed.
- Ensure work complies with all standards and 6S practices.
- Maintain and promote 6S within the work area.
