Job summary

GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) at Helsinki Airport, Finland, seeks a SPAH Lead Mechanic/Inspector for our Hospital Shop Visit team. The role covers quick-turnaround CF6-80 engine work, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced setting.

The position is full-time with shifts, some outside regular hours. Relocation support is available; strong teamwork and customer-facing reporting are required.

Qualifications

CF6-80 engine experience required; CFM56-5B/7B seen as a plus.
Experience in module installation and assembly measurements.
Ability to read and interpret SBs.
Familiar with assembly/disassembly and engine inspections.

Responsibilities

Lead group of mechanics during engine assembly/disassembly and supervise the work.
Assist mechanics with tasks and troubleshooting.
Perform assembly, disassembly, part, module, and engine inspections.
Report progress to Team Leads and cover for them as needed.
Ensure work conforms to all standards and procedures; uphold 6S in area.
Maintain and promote 6S standards within the area.
