Job summary

EmMoi Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in Matinkylä, Espoo, seeks a friendly Restaurant Service Worker – Cashier & Table Service to join the team. You will handle payments, take dine-in and takeaway orders, welcome guests, and provide professional service.

The role requires fluent Finnish and English, knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine, and experience with cashier/POS systems and online delivery platforms like Wolt and Uber Eats.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Hygiene Passport (Hygieniapassi) and Valid Alcohol Passport (Anniskelupassi).
• Experience with cashier/POS systems and handling payments is required.
• Experience in restaurant customer service or table service.
• Experience with online delivery platforms such as Wolt and Uber Eats.

Responsibilities

• Handle cashier duties and payments using POS system.
• Take dine-in and takeaway orders accurately.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to guests.
• Serve food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks as applicable.
• Assist with table service and guest satisfaction during visits.
• Coordinate delivery orders via Wolt/Uber Eats and resolve issues with orders.

EmMoi Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Matinkylä, Espoo. We bring authentic Vietnamese flavours to Finland through traditional recipes, fresh ingredients and carefully prepared dishes.

We value good food, warm and friendly customer service, cleanliness and teamwork. We are now looking for an experienced, cheerful and customer-oriented Restaurant Service Worker to join our team.

Main Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Working at the cashier and handling different payment methods


• Taking dine-in and takeaway orders accurately


• Welcoming customers and providing friendly and professional customer service


• Serving food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages


• Providing table service and taking care of customers during their visit


• Explaining Vietnamese dishes, ingredients and flavours and recommending suitable dishes to customers


• Handling Wolt and Uber Eats orders, including receiving, checking, preparing and coordinating delivery orders


• Communicating with customers and delivery partners when problems occur with takeaway or delivery orders


• Handling customer questions, feedback and complaints in a calm, professional and solution-oriented manner


• Finding appropriate solutions to customer service issues and asking the manager for support when necessary


• Clearing and cleaning tables


• Keeping the cashier, dining and customer areas clean and organised


• Preparing the restaurant before opening and helping with closing duties


• Supporting other team members during busy service periods


• Helping with cleaning, organising, restocking and other general restaurant duties during quieter periods

Requirements

For this position, you must have:

• Valid Hygiene Passport (Hygieniapassi)


• Valid Alcohol Passport (Anniskelupassi)


• Previous experience working with a cashier/POS system and handling payments


• Previous experience in restaurant customer service or table service


• Experience handling online delivery platforms such as Wolt and Uber Eats


• Experience dealing with customer questions, feedback, complaints and problem situations


• Good knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese cuisine, including common dishes, ingredients, herbs, sauces and flavours


• Ability to confidently explain and recommend Vietnamese dishes to customers


• Fluent Finnish and English communication skills


• Ability to work evenings and weekends when required


• Vietnamese language skills are a strong advantage.

Position: Restaurant Service Worker – Cashier & Table Service Workplace: EmMoi Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine, Matinkylä, Espoo Employment type: Part-time / Full-time, depending on agreement Working hours: To be agreed Starting date: As soon as possible / To be agreed Salary: According to the Collective Agreement for the Hospitality Industry (MaRa/PAM TES), based on the applicable pay group and previous relevant work experience.
