Job summary

Visual Components in Espoo, Finland, is seeking a Software Developer to help grow our platform by designing and implementing features for Windows desktop applications using C++, C#, .NET, and WPF. You will work in a team to ensure scalable, maintainable code and high-quality integration with existing systems.

We operate in a hybrid model with on-site days to support collaboration, onboarding, and team cohesion.

Qualifications

• Proven deep hands-on C++ experience.
• Experience with Windows desktop technologies and Visual Studio.
• Fluency in English for daily work.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control and CI/CD.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features for Windows desktop apps focusing on architecture, API design, and UI controls (C++, C#, .NET, WPF).
• Refactor legacy components to improve maintainability and backward compatibility with modern Windows tech.
• Improve test coverage with unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to review designs and foster shared ownership.
