Job summary

Brown & Brown in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a Producer to expand our growth in the Canadian market. You will build client relationships, identify leads, and manage insurance solutions across risk management and coverage options.

The successful candidate will present and close new business and renewal proposals, coordinate with carriers and internal teams, and participate in professional networks to promote our brand and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Build a network of professional relationships, identify new leads, and qualify opportunities that meet company standards as prospects.
• Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relations with clients, as well as professional relationships with carrier partners and internal resources throughout the organization.
• Conduct risk management surveys, determine insurance coverage needs, advise existing and prospective clients with insurance coverage options.
• Provide continuous professional advice for improving the insurance and risk management programs of existing and prospective clients.
• Secure and prepare documentation in the development of new business and renewal proposals and for the negotiation of quotes for placement of coverage by the marketing and service teams.
• Present and sell new business and renewal proposals, including educational materials for value-add services, to prospective and existing client decisionmakers, respectively.
• Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex claims.
• Follow brokerage guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Actively participate in social, civic, trade organizations and industry associates which will assist in promoting Profit Center’s image.
• Promote teamwork within the department and profit center through support, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude.

Pay Range

100,000.00 - 150,000.00 Annual

Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. Package may include base pay, commissions, and/or bonuses.
