Nordea in Helsinki/Poland is seeking an experienced BMC Discovery Expert to join the IT Service Configuration Management team on a full-time basis. You will ensure seamless integration between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB, monitor performance, and drive automation initiatives across ITSM tools.

The role requires hands-on work with BMC/ServiceNow Discovery, scripting with SQL, and strong collaboration with data owners, architects, and the BMC vendor, in a hybrid Nordic work environment.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with BMC Discovery and ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience upgrading BMC/ServiceNow Discovery tools.
• Ability to build automations and workflows.
• Experience in scripting patterns (BMC/ServiceNow Discovery) and SQL.
• Experience in Service Modelling (CAM, SAM or Blueprint).
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure components and architectures.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as Remedy, ServiceNow, and Helix.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

About our team

Meet the IT Service Configuration Management team. Our role is to provide centralised ICT Asset and Configuration process and operations within BMC Helix ITSM system.

Main responsibilities in this role:

• Review, analyse, coordinate and maintain efficient operations between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB
• BMC Discovery monitoring, troubleshooting, housekeeping
• BMC Discovery TPL development, synchronization and reconciliation
• Application Modelling development and maintenance
• Identify improvements potential and develop technical solutions
• Cooperate with data owners, architects, and various subject matter experts including BMC vendor

The role is based in Poland - Gdańsk/Gdynia or Finland - Helsinki.

• Professional and hands on experience with BMC Discovery/ServiceNow Discovery
• Experience with upgrades to the BMC/ServiceNow Discovery tool
• Experience in building automations and workflows
• Experience in scripting/writing patterns (BMC/ServiceNow Discovery and SQL)
• Experience in Service Modelling (CAM, SAM or Blueprint)
• Knowledge of architecture and configurations of IT infrastructure components
• Experience working with ITSM tools (Remedy, ServiceNow, Helix)
• High skills in communication
• Fluency in written and spoken English

It would be ideal if you also:

• Are familiar with Agile methodology
• Have experience in ITSM processes and understanding of ITIL methodology
