The Women’s Health Team at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu invites applications for a statistical expert. You will work with large register datasets (PMOS-FiRe), cohort data (NFBC, WENDY) and questionnaire data (FINNETWORK, WeWork), contributing across planning, analysis, interpretation, visualization and publishing.

The Women’s Health Team is a research group at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu. The team advances lifelong gynecological and obstetric health of women and leads internationally recognized programs on women’s health burden and work ability, Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS; formerly PCOS), and hormonal contraception.

The position is fixed term starting from 1.12.2026 (or as agreed) until 31.12.2027.
The salary will be based on the levels 8-9 of the demand level chart for other expert and support staff of Finnish universities. In addition, a salary component based on personal work performance will be paid (maximum of 50 % of the job-specific component).The starting gross salary for similar positions typically ranges from approx. 3300-3600 € per month (before taxes). A trial period of 6 months is applied in the position.
