Job summary

KONE is seeking a Major Projects Bid Manager to join our high-performing Major Projects team. This national role supports Major Projects across Australia & New Zealand, with base options in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.

You will oversee the entire bid lifecycle, driving value proposition, solution design, and risk management while coordinating inputs from diverse teams to deliver competitive bids. This is a pivotal role within a leading global elevator and escalator company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Bid Management experience in the Construction Industry.
• Experience in Vertical Transport Industry is advantageous.
• Proven track record in winning multi-million-dollar (AUD) project opportunities.
• Excellent project planning, cost planning, quality management and risk management.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at executive level (internal and external).

Responsibilities

• Develop KONE's position and customer base in the market.
• Coordinate bid teams and inputs from sales, engineering, marketing, finance, legal and operations.
• Prepare and review commercial aspects of the bid to ensure all services are included.
• Manage bid qualification (Go/No-Go) and bid budget/cost plan.
• Ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.
• Arrange pre/post bid reviews with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Communicate with all KONE stakeholders involved in the bid process.
• Ensure transition from contract award to project execution.
