Job summary

Jobgether’s partner company is seeking a Backend Engineer, Core APIs based in Finland. Join a fully remote engineering team building backend systems for real-time data processing and fraud detection.

You’ll work with Go and Node.js to create scalable services and APIs, while collaborating across globally distributed teams and mentoring teammates. You will design, implement, test, and deploy robust backend solutions, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to a culture of data-driven

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional backend software development experience with production-grade systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Go and/or Node.js, and willingness to deepen expertise in both.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, real-time data-processing services, and microservice architectures.
• Knowledge of SQL and data stores such as DynamoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch; familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend systems for real-time data processing and high-performance web services.
• Build, maintain, and improve APIs, microservices, and backend infrastructure focusing on reliability and scalability.
• Develop primarily with Go and/or Node.js while collaborating across services to deliver robust backend solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and support the technical growth of teammates.
• Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
