Job summary

ABB Oy, Energy Industries unit in Vaasa is seeking two Project Engineers to drive automation activities for Gas and Diesel Engine Power Plants. You will coordinate engineering tasks, support project teams, and ensure alignment with budget, quality, and safety requirements.

The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to expand technical skills in a global environment, with collaboration across stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

Bachelor level technical degree in electrical or automation engineering.
Experience with industrial automation systems and PLC programming.
Knowledge of Siemens and/or Schneider PLCs is preferred.
Experience with power plant automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement automation solutions for gas and diesel engine power plants.
Act as a technical reference for project teams, suppliers and customers.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet targets.
Contribute to cost-effective project execution within contract specs and safety standards.
