Job summary
Neste, the world’s leading producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, seeks an Automation Lead Engineer to lead the automation design team in Kilpilahti, Porvoo. You will guide the automation design across the full lifecycle, collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders and supporting safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in process automation engineering.
- Knowledge of DCS and SIS automation systems and control engineering.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or other applicable field.
- Strong self-initiative and solution-seeking attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to speak and write in English.
Responsibilities
- Lead a design team in projects ensuring quality, scope, time and safety.
- Be responsible for DCS and SIS control and hardware engineering and purchasing activities.
- Supervise suppliers and subcontractors' work.
- Participate in DCS and SIS testing (FAT, SAT) and commissioning activities.
- Manage internal stakeholders, work-share partners and suppliers.
- Collaborate with the client and network across engineering disciplines.
- Improve engineering procedures, instructions and specifications.
- Develop technical competence and leadership skills.
