Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical/electronics/automation/mechatronics or a related field.
- Experience in technical troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Experience with embedded control or automation systems.
- Strong analytical mindset and clear communication in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support remotely and on-site to internal and external customers.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex automation and control system issues.
- Conduct site surveys, commissioning support, and field investigations globally.
- Simulate and analyze field issues in advanced automation labs with physical and virtual test environments.
- Perform root cause analyses and support product reliability improvements.
- Manage engine automation software configurations, upgrades, backups, and system modifications.
- Gather field feedback and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare technical documentation including service bulletins and investigation reports.
- Lead product and process development projects in collaboration with R&D and other departments.
- Support product introductions, validation, and testing for next-generation automation platforms.
- Serve as a technical reference point for product and field-related expertise across Wärtsilä.
