Job summary

Nokia in Oulu, Finland, is seeking a Specialist, Test SW Engineering to design and implement automated test software for production globally. You will own test automation from design to execution, using C# and OpenTAP, and collaborate with R&D and production teams to maintain quality and performance.

The role emphasizes end-to-end responsibility, mentoring juniors, and contributing to test coverage and continuous quality improvements while working on site at the Oulu campus.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in object-oriented software development.
• Proficiency in C# and version control.
• Experience with test automation development (OpenTAP).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Valid passport from a NATO member country.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions for production environments with C#.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with colleagues globally for resolution.
• Troubleshoot issues in lab, Oulu NPI and EMS factories when required.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices in C# and test sequence creation with OpenTAP.
