Beneq, a global high‑tech company specializing in ALD coatings, invites a Process Development Engineer to join the P-Series team on a fixed‑term basis covering parental leave. You will shape industrial ALD processes for optical devices and coatings, from demo to pilot production.

The role emphasizes hands‑on work with production and metrology equipment, strong English communication, and collaboration with customers and sales.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in physical sciences or materials science.
• Proficiency in reading and writing technical texts.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical abilities, initiative and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on attitude towards working with production and metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform process development and optimisation for industrial customers and internal needs on new and existing ALD processes and applications
• Coat demo samples for customers to showcase ALD performance in their applications
• Scale up and conduct pilot production
• Manage customer communication
• Write technical reports and documentation
• Maintain ALD and metrology equipment
• Support sales and marketing as a technical expert on ALD coatings and applications
