Job summary

Adven Group is seeking a Director, AI Transformation to lead a company-wide AI transition within the Strategy & M&A team. The role reports to the SVP, Strategy & M&A and requires building momentum for AI initiatives across Adven’s international operations, with a focus on measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in economics, business, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years in transformation, consulting, or business development roles.
• Proven digital/AI transformation project experience.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders at the top management level.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, ML, data governance, and AI platforms.
• Understanding of data architecture, governance, and data quality requirements.
• Knowledge of AI policy, governance, risk management and cybersecurity aspects.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate complex concepts to business terms.
• Proficiency in English; Finnish/Swedish is a plus.
• Experience in energy, utilities, or asset-intensive industries is preferred.
• PM certification or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide AI transformation and implementation across the group.
• Develop and execute the AI agenda in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Own and advance Adven’s AI solutions with IT department support.
• Identify AI opportunities based on business impact and value.
• Manage a portfolio of AI initiatives: budgets, milestones, risks, benefits.
• Drive adoption and change across the organization.
• Ensure AI policies, governance, and responsible-use principles are embedded.
