The Opportunity

A leading digital infrastructure platform is expanding its next generation AI compute capabilities and is seeking a Site Operations Manager to take end to end accountability for GPU infrastructure operations at a regional data centre location in Finland.

This is a senior operational leadership role spanning infrastructure procurement, architecture, deployment, live operations, maintenance, compliance and customer management.

You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring GPU cluster environments remain reliable, available, secure and operationally efficient while supporting the demands of hyperscale and enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Leadership: Lead AI Systems, Network & Security, AI Platform and Site Resilience Engineers, maintaining effective 24/7 operational coverage.
• GPU Infrastructure: Own the health, availability and operational performance of GPU cluster environments, including incident management and service restoration.
• Maintenance & Change: Govern infrastructure maintenance, change management and operational readiness.
• Capacity Planning: Oversee capacity planning, utilisation reporting and infrastructure performance.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure operational processes meet relevant compliance, security and governance requirements.
• Customer Management: Manage relationships with hyperscaler and enterprise customers, ensuring service quality and effective stakeholder communication.
• Procurement & Vendors: Own supplier relationships, procurement coordination and vendor performance across the infrastructure lifecycle.
• End to End Accountability: Coordinate activities across architecture, deployment, operations and ongoing maintenance to ensure reliable service delivery.

Experience & Background

We are looking for an experienced infrastructure operations leader with:

• Experience operating GPU, AI compute, HPC or other complex mission critical infrastructure.
• A track record leading multidisciplinary technical teams in demanding operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of incident management, service availability, maintenance and change control.
• Experience with capacity planning, compliance, vendor management and customer facing service delivery.
• The ability to take ownership, build operational discipline and scale processes as infrastructure expands.

Experience with NVIDIA GPU platforms, high performance networking and GPU as a Service or Rack as a Service models would be advantageous.
