Job summary

Alma Media is seeking a hands-on AI Platform Engineer to build a lean AI platform across cloud environments and deliver LLMOps capabilities for reliable, observable AI applications and agents.

You will run governance, security and privacy controls, provide scalable delivery pipelines, and operate tooling to support production-grade AI services. The role is hybrid with flexible work options in Helsinki, Tampere, or Prague.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud, platform, backend, DevOps, SRE or security engineering.
• Deploy production services with APIs, containers or serverless tech and CI/CD.
• Practical experience with foundation-model APIs and production AI/agent/RAG solutions.
• Knowledge of identity, secrets, networking, monitoring and secure API integration.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, tracing, configuration versioning and nondeterministic systems.
• Ability to balance delivery speed, cost and risk with guardrails.

Would you like to build the shared foundation that takes enterprise AI into production?

We are now creating a group-level AI capability across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. We are looking for a hands-on AI Platform Engineer to create the platform capabilities and LLMOps practices behind reliable, observable and secure AI applications and agents.

Your role

You will build and operate a lean AI platform based on real delivery needs. You will make approved governance, security and privacy requirements practical through reusable technical controls, delivery pipelines and operational tooling.

What You’ll Get To Do

What We Are Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in cloud, platform, backend, DevOps, SRE or security engineering.
• Experience deploying production services with APIs, containers or serverless technologies and CI/CD.
• Practical experience with foundation-model APIs and at least one production-oriented AI, agent or RAG solution.
• Knowledge of identity, secrets, networking, monitoring and secure API integration.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, tracing, configuration versioning and nondeterministic systems.
• Sound judgement when balancing delivery speed, cost, risk and company guardrails.

Useful, But Not Required

• Deep experience in one major cloud and working familiarity with others.
• Experience with model gateways, agent frameworks, vector or hybrid search and AI observability tools.
• Experience enabling teams through internal platforms, templates or developer portals.
