Job summary

Aurora Live is seeking a Lead Software Architect to own the big picture of our software architecture and evolve it for AI-native development. You will prototype, review implementations, and collaborate with the team to solve complex problems while guiding architecture across applications, data, and APIs.

You will stay hands-on and coach developers, balancing build vs. buy decisions and driving scalability, security, and technical excellence across the product landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex software architectures.
• Hands-on with code and prototyping.
• Experience with AWS and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition to AI-native software development.
• Make architecture AI-readable with data models and APIs.
• Define and evolve architecture across apps, integrations, data and APIs.
• Stay hands-on with prototyping, code reviews, and problem-solving.
• Challenge build/buy/integrate decisions to improve efficiency.
• Improve scalability, security, maintainability across the software estate.
• Reduce technical debt pragmatically while keeping business moving.
• Coach developers and raise the technical bar across the team.
