Job summary

European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg seeks an AI & Digital Transformation associate officer to drive AI-enabled transformation in portfolio monitoring, coordination and process simplification. You will collect, structure and analyse project information, coordinate inputs, and support practical digital tools across the Projects Directorate.

This full-time role reports to the Head of Division within the SAI Department and offers exposure to cross-service collaboration, change management

Qualifications

• University degree, minimum equivalent to a Bachelor, in a relevant field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure project cycles or portfolio analysis with process improvement and digital transformation.
• Good digital literacy and practical experience in organising information, using Microsoft 365 tools, tracking tables, online forms or simple workflows.
• Interest in applying digital and AI-enabled tools to improve business processes, document handling, knowledge management and analytical outputs.
• Strong analytical and drafting skills, with the ability to structure information clearly and prepare concise notes, dashboards, presentations or recommendations.
• Good coordination and collaboration skills, with the ability to follow up with different teams.
• Excellent knowledge of English and/or French.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen portfolio intelligence by collecting, structuring and analysing project-related information, improving visibility of pipelines and priorities.
• Support digital process improvement by converting Word templates, checklists and forms into online templates and simple workflows.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions for document structuring, knowledge management and portfolio analysis.
• Coordinate with GIS and services to align digital tools with Bank standards and governance.
• Contribute to analytical tools and dashboards supporting procurement decisions and value-for-money practices.
• Support coordination and knowledge management related to EIB Global operations.
• Analyze information to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement; prepare concise notes and recommendations.
• Review digital platforms and best practices of comparable institutions for continuous improvement.
• Assist awareness-raising activities and training on digital transformation and change management.
