Job summary
Covestic Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Center Operations Engineer to support deployment and long-term operation of AI infrastructure in a high-performance data center.
You will own reliability across compute, network, power, and cooling, work with facilities, colocation partners, and global teams, and lead incident response and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on role requires deep experience with IT and facilities systems, strong documentation, and the ability to operate under
Qualifications
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Bash, Python, Ansible or equivalent.
- Experience with enterprise networking CLI and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Arista, Juniper or similar networking technologies.
- Experience reviewing/creating operational procedures (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs).
Responsibilities
- Own reliability and performance of compute, network, power, and cooling infrastructure.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server, storage, and networking hardware.
- Lead incident response and root cause analyses for outages.
- Develop and improve runbooks, procedures, and documentation.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations supporting critical infrastructure.
