Job summary

Tietoevry Oyj is seeking an experienced engineer to build a secure, governed AI reference framework. You will work on AI agents with tracing, evals, and quality gates while shaping governance, policy-as-code, and zero-trust tooling.

The role emphasizes cloud foundations, IaC, and enterprise integrations. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Finnish, capable of explaining complex tech to CIOs, and able to ship working software in a collaborative, hybrid work environment in

Qualifications

• Cloud: Strong Azure background and experience with AI Foundry, Container Apps, APIM, Key Vault, networking and identity.
• IaC & automation: hands-on with Bicep or Terraform; CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Agentic AI: practical exposure to agent frameworks, RAG, evals and tracing (OpenTelemetry).
• Governance: policy-as-code (OPA/Rego) or equivalent, zero-trust and compliance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents with tracing, evals, and quality gates across enterprise setups.
• Help build governance and guardrails for AI initiatives: policy-as-code and compliance automation.
• Contribute to cloud platform foundations and IaC implementations.
• Create integrations with enterprise systems (ticketing, identity, source control, collaboration).
• Propose ADRs and make architecture decisions to guide delivery.

Help us build a secure, governed agentic AI reference framework — the foundation for how we help enterprise customers adopt AI agents safely across operations and software delivery.

You’ll work on:

• AI agents with tracing, evals, and quality gates
• Governance and guardrails: policy-as-code, zero-trust, compliance automation
• Cloud platform foundations and IaC
• Integrations with common enterprise systems (ticketing, source control, identity, collaboration)
• Architecture decisions and ADRs

You bring:

• Cloud: Strong Azure background (AI Foundry, Container Apps, APIM, Key Vault, networking, identity)
• IaC & automation: Bicep or Terraform, GitHub Actions / modern CI/CD
• Agentic AI: Hands-on with agent frameworks (Microsoft Agent Framework, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph or similar), RAG, evals and tracing (OpenTelemetry)
• Governance: Policy-as-code (OPA/Rego) or comparable, zero-trust and compliance tooling
• Mindset: Pragmatic — you ship working software and can explain it to a CIO
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish

Nice to have:

• Enterprise integration experience (ServiceNow, GitHub Enterprise, Entra ID)
• Backstage / internal developer platforms AI evals frameworks, prompt optimization, model lifecycle
• Background in regulated industries or pre-sales / customer workshops
