Qualifications

• In-depth competence in wireless communications, mobile networks, or network architecture.
• PhD or MSc with demonstrable research experience in related fields.
• Experience with simulation/emulation tools and modern programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate innovative concepts for Radio Access Network protocols (MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC) and interfaces for 6G/3GPP standardization.
• Drive 3GPP standardization proposals and manage IPR where needed.
• Use simulation tools to assess new concepts and improve existing standards.
• Collaborate in an international team and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Engage with external partners and EU-funded projects.
