What are we looking for?

We seek a Tech Lead Platform Engineer specialized in Python and React to join our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) team. You will play a key role in building and refining our IDP capabilities, leveraging your extensive experience in back-end development, cloud engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.

Location:

100% remote for candidates based in Spain.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain our internal developer platform using cloud services (Azure and AWS) for scalable and resilient solutions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and execute a refined product backlog aligned with business goals.
3. Utilize Python and React to create robust backend and UI solutions, focusing on performance and user experience.
4. Use tools like Terraform and ArgoCD for cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery enhancements.
5. Improve system reliability, observability, and automation in a distributed environment.
6. Engage with stakeholders to analyze needs and deliver solutions exceeding service expectations.

Knowledge, experience, and qualifications:

• Mastery of back-end development with Python.
• Experience in UI/UX development using React, preferably with Material UI.
• Knowledge of Internal Developer Platform architecture, with experience in platforms like Backstage.
• Practical cloud architecture experience focusing on AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform, ArgoCD, and similar tools.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery tools like ADO Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance, scalability, and resiliency.
• Experience working with stakeholders on requirements analysis and product backlog.
• Agile delivery experience, including TDD approaches.

Additional skills that are a plus:

• Experience with cloud-native platforms.
• Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and automation techniques.
• Interest in developer experience optimization.

Work schedule:

8:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
