DXC Technology Inc. is seeking a senior z/OS System Programmer to join our Global Infrastructure Services team. This remote role covers the EU and focuses on maintaining z/OS and related software, performing complex builds and migrations, and ensuring global reliability.

You will lead and mentor a dispersed EU team while participating in 24x7 on-call rotations, with emphasis on automation, security, and documentation. Fluency in English and deep z/OS expertise are required.

Formación

8+ years in z/OS system programming.
Strong knowledge of z/OS architecture and utilities.
Experience with JES, IMS, CICS.
Experience with automation and system management tools.
Good command of English.

Responsabilidades

Install, configure and maintain z/OS and its components.
Execute builds, migrations, refresh, CPU swaps and LPAR build/decommission projects.
Provide 24x7 on‑call support and participate in disaster recovery drills.
Manage security profiles, access control and I/O configuration.
Analyze system performance using SMF data.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Lead and mentor a remote team distributed across several EU countries.
